Every one of these is avoidable with a calendar and someone who keeps it.

Miss the annual report and DDEC fines you $1,000 automatically, adds $5,000 if that goes unpaid, then can move to revoke the decree.

- We work from your decree’s calendar, not from the last week before a deadline. If a document someone else owes you is late, we file the extension before the due date.
- Done right
- Every return is reviewed line by line before you see it, and we explain what changed from last year and why.
- Easy
- One portal for your returns and your company’s. Plain questions, no PDF checklists, no email chains.
- People who answer
- A named preparer who knows your file, and a reply within one business day.
- Private
- Two-step sign-in and encryption on every account, and we never ask for your Hacienda or IRS passwords.
Questions we hear first
Can you take over from my current preparer?
Yes. We start with your last returns and your decree, confirm what is in good standing, and take it from there. If something from a past year needs fixing, you hear about it before we file anything new.
Do you file for me and my company together?
Yes. One engagement covers your personal returns and your company’s, with one calendar and one price, and filing both together costs less than filing them separately.
I live in Puerto Rico. Do I still need a federal return?
Often, yes. Bona fide residents leave Puerto Rico income off their federal return, but US dividends and interest, pay for work done in the US, US real estate and some gains on assets you owned before you moved are still taxed federally. We check every year and file the federal return when you need one.
What changes for decrees applied for from 2027?
Under Act 38-2026, individual investor applications received from January 1, 2027 pay 4% on interest, dividends and gains instead of 0%. We file for both: decrees from earlier applications and the new 4% decrees.
Are you a CPA firm?
No. We are an independent tax preparation service. We prepare and file returns and annual reports. We do not audit or certify financial statements; when your company needs that, we work alongside your Puerto Rico licensed CPA.
Do you keep books?
No. We prepare returns from books that are closed through year end. If yours are not, we introduce you to a bookkeeper and price your return once they are done.
What if I already have an audit or a notice?
Tell us when you start. A notice we can answer is quoted on its own. If it needs formal representation, we refer you to an attorney, enrolled agent or CPA and keep your filings moving.
When can I start?
Now. We are booking the 2027 filing season, for tax year 2026. Ask for your quote and you get a fixed price in writing within one business day.
Let someone else keep your decree calendar.
Answer a few questions. Your fixed price arrives in writing within one business day, and then you decide.
